At the heart, at the core of every follower of Jesus Christ is an innate desire to please Him; a compulsion to give, to serve, to love; to live in a manner that tangibly expresses to some degree our thankfulness in response to what He has done for us. We can’t run or hide from this inner voice regardless of our faithfulness to Him. It is in reality His faithfulness to us because we were chosen, called to be His. And it is the most rewarding of all things in life – to be His, to follow Jesus Christ. So the question is never should we serve, or should we give, or should we love, or should we do. The question becomes, how?
